How Being Lazy Increased eBay Sales

For the last 14 years I have been selling on eBay, and I am always learning new techniques to increase sales.

The last 3 years I have been using the "drop shipping" method to sell, and have made some decent money, but have noticed a huge decline in sales over the last couple years.

I am constantly educating myself on how to improve sales on eBay by joining programs that teach drop shipping, reading articles ect.

One of the suggestions that the "trainers" taught was to list your items for 30 days, and at the end of the 30 days, if the item did not sell, use the "sell similar" option to relist the item. By doing that, it "reset " the history to that of a newly listed item, which in turn eBay would show that item higher in the search results. That made perfect sense.

So for 3 years I was doing that, but last year my sales declined over $90k from 2015 to 2016!!  So using the "sell similar" trick was not the answer.

For a short period of time, I actually quit drop shipping, but decided to do it again, because to be honest, I was addicted to it! lol!!

Last month, I had about 60 items end at one time, and the thought of revising each one and using the "sell similar" made me want to pull my hair out!

In this video, I will tell you what I did, because I was lazy, that my have been the answer for my 68% increase in sales from last month!

Did This Help You? If so, I would greatly appreciate it if you commented below and shared on Facebook.

P.S:  Would you be open to exploring another avenue of making income part time, and work directly with me?  I will send you a cool video to watch, enter info here

  1. Hey D,
Was thinking you would say the opposite, in other words to lower the listing time to 7 or 10 days to boost listings higher in search results. But you're taklin g about drop shipping. 98% of my items are my own and not brand new, only a few are DS, so I think lower listing time might work better for mine. and GTC has not helped me at all.

You are correct, I was referring to the drop ship items that I listed as GTC, btw, the phone is still "chinging off the hook" When I sell my "garage sale" finds, I usually do a 5-7 day listing. Thanks for your input!! Keep Rockin!
